How much does Lunchbox cost?
Lunchbox costs R997 to R3,697 per month with no setup fees or long contracts. Starter is R997/mo, Team R1,699/mo and Business R3,697/mo.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You enter your card when you sign up, we run an R1 card check that is refunded automatically, and the first charge only happens when the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.
What do extra AI messages cost?
Extra AI messages cost R250 per 1,000, and broadcast credits are R250 per 250 messages. Top-ups only apply after your plan's included volume is used.
Do you add VAT on top?
No. The price you see is the price you pay, in South African rand. There are no hidden currency conversions or USD billing.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes. You can move between plans as your team grows and cancel anytime; plans are month-to-month with no long contracts.
What counts as an AI message?
An AI message is one reply the agent sends on your behalf: answering a customer, confirming a booking or following up a quote. Your own manual replies are unlimited.
Does WhatsApp charge anything on top?
Meta bills a small per-conversation fee for WhatsApp Business API traffic (a few cents to a few rand depending on type). Lunchbox passes this through at cost with no markup.
